The draw for the second round of the William Hill Scottish Cup saw SPFL League Two clubs get involved.

But when the draw was made by Scotland internationalist James McFadden on Monday, he drew a home tie for Bo’ness United out along with North Super League champions Culter.

He also picked out Linlithgow Rose with the prospect of a home tie against Dalbeattie Star if they can overcome Fraserburgh tomorrow (Saturday).

All six junior teams are still in the Scottish Cup and their ties include Edinburgh City v Auchinleck, Brora Rangers v Banks O’Dee and Inverurie Loco v Hurlford. The ties will be played on Saturday, October 4.

The second round draw for the DJ Laing East of Scotland Cup was also made last weekend and has paired Linlithgow against Bonnyrigg Rose. The tie of the round will go ahead at Prestonfield while Bo’ness face a trip to Kinoull.

In the Fife and Lothians Cup, Linlithgow will meet Thornton at Prestonfield in the first round with a possible home match against Fauldhouse in the second.

Bo’ness has been paired away to Oakley in the first round, with the potential home tie against Livingston in the second round.
