Linlithgow Rose offer deals to pair of defenders and are talking to two midfielders
Linlithgow Rose have offered deals to two left backs and are also in negotiations with two midfielders about potentially joining the East of Scotland Premier Division cracks.
Rose boss Brown Ferguson told the Journal and Gazette that he hopes to add a further three players this summer to bring the squad up to 18.
“There are a couple of offers out to players,” Brown said.
"It’s not in a position to say that we’ve got anybody over the line but we’re close with a couple. Some have played at our level, some have played at a higher level.
"Obviously we need to target a left back and we’re looking for somebody else who can link the midfield and the attack.
"And we’re obviously keeping an eye out for another goalkeeper as well.
"They’re the three obvious positions we need to bring in and I think thereafter it’s really just a case of assessing the squad and what becomes available, who can improve us.
"Maybe we need a bit more depth but that might not happen immediately so we are not far away. I’m very happy, very content with where we are.
“Hopefully we’ll have news by next week.”
Meanwhile, Linlithgow Rose have released details of their upcoming pre-season friendly matches.
