Linlithgow Rose and Bo’ness United need to win their clashes tomorrow (Saturday) if they are to keep among the league leaders.

The Rose are at home to Sauchie while Bo’ness host Camelon at Newtown Park.

Only two other Super League matches are being played this weekend and these involve first and second placed Kelty and Newtongrange.

While the local clubs sit third and fourth in the league, there is little room for any slips-ups along the way if they want to contend for the title.

Bo’ness dropped two vital points last weekend when they drew with Penicuik despite having numerous opportunities to put the game beyond doubt.

BU boss Allan McGonigal said: ‘‘We are at home against Camelon and a win will put us back in the mix.’’

The Rose will want to continue their winning ways after their convincing win over Camelon.

Assistant coach Alan Moffat said: ‘‘This is another important game for us over the festive period and it’s one we want to win especially in front on our own supporters.’’

Linlithgow eventually found out the opponents for their Scottish Junior Cup round four match. They will travel to Culter on Saturday, January 17.
