Hide AdIt passed through his hometown of Bonnybridge and entered Falkirk on Camelon Road, then along Hope Street passing close to Brockville where he played for the Bairns – turning out almost 170 times in the navy blue.
The route also took in one last visit to the football club, and stopped outside the front door of The Falkirk Stadium where fans had gathered and team-mates from the 1997 Scottish Cup final squad lined the street along with present Falkirk managers Lee Miller and David McCracken, chairman Gary Deans and captain Gary Miller.
The cortege was met with applause and paused while Hagen’s former manager, Alex Totten, placed a wreath inside the hearse on behalf of the club.
Former Rangers players Charlie Miller and Gary Bollan also turned out for the ex-Ger at The Falkirk Stadium.
