Rose boss Danny Smith is looking forward not back as he bids to get points on the board with the league season now well under way.
Penicuik were a surprise package coming to Prestonfield on Saturday and leaving with three points.
But worse was to follow on Monday evening when the Rose went down 3-1 to Falkirk Juniors.
However, Smith believes his injury-hit side can go to Lochee tomorrow and turn things around.
‘‘There are no easy games in this league but with the right attitude we can go to Lochee and get a result and come home with all three points,’’ he insisted this week.
However, with just 14 fit players, he knows his side face another challenging 90 minutes.
Definitely out are Kevin Kelbie, John Ovenstone and Andy McGown. Scott Christie faced a late fitness test to make the starting line-up.
Smith expressed disappointment that close season signing Kevin Kelbie was still out injured.
‘‘The Beith keeper stood on his ankle during the pre-season friendly,’’ said Smith. ‘‘But he is back in training and it won’tbe long before he is fit and challenging Tommy Coyne for a place up front.’’
Fans’ bus: Bus to Lochee will leave the social club at 12.30pm tomorrow (Saturday).
