Of those 12, nine have found new clubs and three are still free agents while six could potentially line up AGAINST Falkirk this season, having signed for Scottish League 1 sides.
Here is where the familiar names will be playing their football next season.
5. Morgaro Gomis - Clyde
Much like Sammon and Durnan, the midfielder wont be moving far and will be turning out against the Bairns next season as he signs up just down the road at Broadwood with the Bully Wee Photo: Michael Gillen
6. Scott Mercer - East Fife
It didn't work out for the versatile full back during his one season with Falkirk and he had rejoined former club East Fife for a second spell at Bayview, having turned out for the Fiferes between 2015 and 2017. Photo: Michael Gillen
7. Robbie Leitch - Cove Rangers
The winger's stock has dipped somewhat since his high profile move from Motherwell to Burnley and, after his release from Falkirk, he'll be hoping to jump start his career with the Aberdeen side. Photo: Michael Gillen
8. Jay Cantley - Airdrieonians
The young keeper never managed to get in to the Falkirk team ahead of Robbie Mutch but will hope to make more of an impact at the Diamonds. Photo: Ian Sneddon
