Young Once support Gordy
When the plight of Falkirk FC stalwart Gordon McFarlane was made known, the group quickly agreed to stage a summer event at the Dobbie Hall and all proceeds will be going to the Bring Gordy Home fund.
The group is made up of Peter Duncan, Paul Serafini, Sandy Drysdale and Brian Watters and all were members of local bands back in the 1960s. Their repertoire is extensive and covers many of the songs from the 60s and 70s which will ensure a night to remember. Gordon McFarlane was keen on his music and as well as being Doc Dickens, a well-known local DJ, he also ran his own record shop -Gordon’s Record Shop in Denny. Peter gave Gordon a list of the 125 songs they feature at their gigs, and Colin McFarlane has helped his Dad select his favourites.
