Hot-shots make good progress in first season

Bo’ness Amateurs have got off to a great start in their first season.

The club was formed in June and currently sit eighth in the West Lothian Sunday Amateur League.

Playing out of Bo’ness Recreation Centre, the club has qualified for the quarter-finals of the League Cup and has been drawn against Carluke side Alpha FC in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup, to be played this Sunday, December 7.

Local businesses have been generous sponsors and include Maidenpark Post Office; Madjid, Midcalder Post Office; Sadjid, Baker Street Post Office; Raja, Bo’ness Premier Convenience Store; Corbie Inn, Newtown Bar, Crown Bar and John Patterson.
