The weather on Easter Sunday proved excellent for members of Port Edgar Yacht Club when they staged their second race of the season.
With sunshine and a westerly light breeze over 80 people took to the water with 12 yachts and nine dinghies racing.
The club has already welcomed 12 new crew this year who are keen to learn to race but the yacht club is always looking for more.
As the club has two boats of its own, skippers are always looking for crew so they guarantee everyone who wants to sail can do so.
And for those that have sailed before and who fancy a slightly different challenge, Port Edgar is the place to learn and have a bit fun.
A six-week race development training course for new members starts next week and there are a still a couple of places available, starting on April 21.
If you don’t fancy racing, you can sign up for the Thursday evening cruising sessions or take part in a number of courses at the Watersports Centre. Details at www.peyc.org.uk or call 07802 168274.
