‘Must try harder’ is BU boss’s verdict

BELOW par was the verdict given by Paul Ronald on his side’s performance last Saturday, which saw them come away from Arthurlie with a 1-1 draw.

The BUs will have to work hard to overcome their opponents at Newtown Park tomorrow in the Scottish Junior Cup fifth round replay if they want to progress to the quarter-final stage.

Reflecting on the first encounter, boss Ronald said: “We didn’t play particularly well on Saturday.

“When you are 1-0 up going into the last 15 minutes, you want to see the game through. It didn’t happen. We need to play better and get the win at home. That’s what we need to focus on now.”
