Sarah's time of 15m 24.17s was marginally inside her previous best (15:25.01) set in Belgium in 2019.

More significantly, it was well inside the standard laid down by Scottish Athletics for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, meaning she now has the standard for two distances for next year’s Games. This was the Canada based athlete's first competitive run since missing out on an Olympic standard for the marathon at the British trials at Kew Gardens in London in March.
