BALLS were hitting the back of the net this week with primary pupils pivoting for points.
Primary four classes from Linlithgow Primary, Low Port and Springfield competed in an interschool netball tournament, and although every school had a winning team, Springfield Primary School were overall victors.
Lesley Malone, primary PE specialist, said: “Through playing small team games the primary four children are now learning to link actions and skills and improve their levels of fitness. They are beginning to understand rules and procedures enabling them to compete with success against other schools. They are also able to recognise progress and achievement, and of course have loads of fun!”
