LINLITHGOW Tennis Club hosted a mini-tennis open tournament for over 80 children from all over Scotland last weekend.
Mini tennis courts and nets were set up for the children to compete in mixed events for under 6s to under 10s and some of the best talent in the country competed.
Entry secretary Ashley Mears did an excellent job registering entries and organising the tournament of behalf of the club.
In the six and under event the winner was defending champion Annie Mackintosh (Busby TC), beating Blair Russell (Scotstoun) in the final.
There were 32 children in the under eight event, including two of the country’s top players who made it to the final - Lachie Mackintosh (Busby TC) who beat Harry Brogan (Wilton Park TC).
In the under 9s, it was an all-Linlithgow TC final. In a strong field of 24, Sammy Ralston, a pupil at Springfield PS, and Callum Bowmaker, came racquet to racquet in the final. Callum finished as the winner and for the second year running Sammy claimed the silver medal.
There were 20 players in the under 10 category, with Alexander Mikheev (David Lloyd Leith) beating Mark Carlin (Esporta Hamilton) in the final.
