and live on Freeview channel 276
Since record and music shops became an endangered species in the Falkirk area, the last surviving outlet where people can actually browse, peruse and place their hands on physical recordings of music is located in Friars Street in the City of Stirling.
It takes more than a global pandemic to stop Europa Music – which has been selling sounds for almost half a century – from celebrating Independent Record Store Day.

Europa owner Ewen Duncan said: “Historically there's always a long queue of people waiting in anticipation to buy these records. Unfortunately this year there won't be much live entertainment due to COVID-19.
“We are erecting a marquee to help with social distancing and all the COVID-19 rules for indoor shopping will apply.”
The store will also acknowledge Independent Record Store Day on Saturday, September 26 and Saturday, October 24.
